“Can’t wait for the next one!”

A great stroll in and around Llanthony Priory with Jan Little. The characters in the stories became so alive I had coffee with Walter de Lacey, founder of the Priory in the 1100s and met Walter Savage Landors, a Victorian Poet who created hell in the valley. Beautiful views, with Jan spotting all sorts of things in nature, I would have missed. Can’t wait for the next one!

...developed from Jan's love of:

The COUNTRYSIDE AND NATURE... the magnificent beauty and  wildness that is Wales

WALKING... not racing, nor a snails pace but having time to ‘stop and stare’ , being  present and aware of our surroundings

ANCIENT SITES..., Holy wells and Springs... researching, visiting, sensing a living history

PEOPLE and their STORIES... from the past... "There's nowt so queer as folk"

PEOPLE... in the present... meeting new people on walks, seeing people network, making new friends or just enjoying their own space

CREATING AND TELLING STORIES... Jan loves to research the characters, write their stories based on fact, myth or legend, and get to the heart of who they were. Adding her own insights, the stories start to write themselves as the characters come alive!

Put all of this together and you have the unique experience that is...
